Nine Lives: If the internet is any indication, Christopher Walken and cats are two of the most endlessly entertaining things in the world, so it's only natural they'd figure heavily into the plot of a major motion picture by "Men In Black" director Barry Sonnenfeld starring Kevin Spacey as a businessman who becomes trapped in the body of "Mr. Co-star Tommy Lee Jones is shown in the trailer sporting sunglasses and a soul patch, but Hong Kong action royalty Michelle Yeoh (also listed in the cast) doesn't make an appearance, 1 hr. Mechanic Resurrection: For this sequel to a 2011 remake of a '70s Charles Bronson movie, Jason Statham's hitman character is forced out of retirement when the bad guys kidnap his girlfriend (Jessica Alba). Kubo (Art Parkinson) and his pals Monkey (Charlize Theron) and Beetle (Matthew McConaughey) battle monsters in their quest for an ancient suit of armor. Kubo and the Two Strings: Laika Studios ("Boxtrolls," "Para-Norman") continues to prove itself to be the world's most interesting and innovative animation studio with this epic fantasy that boasts the largest stop-motion character ever filmed. Picking up from 2007's "Bourne Legacy," Damon shares screen time with Alicia Vikander ("The Danish Girl"), Julia Stiles and Tommy Lee Jones. Jason Bourne: Director Paul Greengrass and star Matt Damon return for the fifth mission in the action series based on spy novels by Robert Ludlum. Set in 1950s Ohio, Logan Lerman (from the "Percy Jackson"movie series) plays a college student who challenges the school's religious administration and falls in love with a wealthy classmate (Sarah Gadon). Indignation: A cademy Award-nominated screenwriter James Schamus ("Brokeback Mountain," "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon") makes his feature directorial debut with this adaptation of a Philip Hunt for the Wilderpeople: Already one of the most critically acclaimed films of the year, the latest from New Zealand director Taika Waititi ("What We Do in Shadows") concerns a young delinquent (Julian Dennison, "Paper Planes") who runs off into the bush while under the supervision of his crazy uncle (Sam Neill, "Jurassic Park"), inciting a national manhunt. Feig mainstay Melissa McCarthy is part of the hilarious new team along with "SNL" favorites Leslie Jones, Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon. Ghostbusters: We finally have a big Hollywood action comedy starring a group of female heroes, brought to the screen by director Paul Feig ("Bridesmaids") and co-writer Katie Dippold ("The Heat"). ![]()
